Mosaics for the Grounds
There was a consultation process which was to discuss what they would like to be included on these mosaics. I then produced the designs for all three which they then approved and I created three large scale mosaics to go into the gardens. This was a place for the families and soldiers to sit and have time to think and chat and at the same time reflecting on their achievements.
Crafting Communities
Staffordshire County Council
Working with Rugeley library and the community I created a series of workshops for all ages covering a range of techniques. This artwork was to reflect the heritage of the area and show a senses of a community coming together after the pandemic. Their artwork then became an exhibition in the library and I created a large scale wall mural near the reception area depicting specific buildings within Rugeley.
Fauna & Flora
Commonwealth Games 2022
This project was based on the theme Flora & Flora engaging primary school children in art activities making collages which then took on the form of a leaf. These were then collated and used as part of the final artwork which consisted of a number of flags to be displayed on the chase at Birches Valley as part of the commonwealth 2022. They also contributed to large scale banners that were hung on the railings on the day when the athletes came through the town.
